This year, we’ve worked closely with the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Ravens, and the San Francisco 49ers to implement premium charging technology in their stadiums to enhance the fan experience. We’ve also opened an additional distribution center in New York City! Charging technology–such as quick charging tables, charging lockers and custom wireless charging stations—offer convenient device charging throughout venues, so that fans can stay connected during the moments that matter. Sam Berizzi, senior sports marketing specialist at Entercom, a broadcasting company, recently experienced the convenience of POWER UP’s technology first hand while attending a professional baseball game in Baltimore:
“When I arrived at the game, my phone was nearly dead. I didn’t have a charger, and I needed to connect with my father after the game so we could meet for dinner. When I walked into the suite, I saw the charging station and was able to charge my phone quickly. I was able to use it to take pictures during the event and call my father when the game was over. Staying connected is really important for enjoyment of the game, and because I had my phone, I had a better overall experience.”
