What UL 9540 Certification Means
UL 9540 certification was developed by UL Solutions, a leader in global safety science. UL certification recognizes energy storage systems that exceed a high level of safety and performance standards through design, production, testing, installation, and operation. The rigorous testing process is conducted by independent certification agencies in North America.
UL 9540 certification is based on the following criteria:

Power Up Connect’s Mobile BESS
Our mobile battery energy storage system (BESS) is designed for a wide variety of applications, from disaster recovery to electric vehicle charging.
